Parenting Children
Do you think people who DON’T have children have the right to give Parenting advice to people that DO?

I believe they DO have the right as long as it’s educated advice. Having a child doesn’t automatically make you an expert Parent … and likewise, being a person without children doesn’t automatically make you ignorant about Parenting.

I think it’s unfair for parents to play the “you don’t have any children so your opinion means nothing” card.

I’m not a Parent but I like to come here because I teach young elementary children. If I can manage 20 plus children that are not mine and give them an education somewhere in there, then I have some advice to give (particulary on behaviour management). At the same time, someone with no experience with children could teach a some parents a thing or two about Parenting! You can take the advice or leave it. Good advice is good advice and bad advice is bad advice no matter where it comes from.
