The size of their fist. If 2oz is ok, then keep it at that. You’ll know when to increase the amount when your done with the bottle and the baby is still acting hungry. Then try 3 oz. and work your way up.
Depends on the size of the baby. My daughter was 6lbs 7 oz and she ate 3 oz up until about 3 months. My son (8lbs 7 oz at birth) is 4 months now and went from 2 oz at birth to 6 oz now. He could eat 8 oz but I dont want to over feed at one sitting with him to avoid spit up.
