Can valium be used to treat seizures/depression/anger issues?
I have grand mal seizures and don’t know why exactly the dr never explains anything in english! I also suffer from depression and am easily irritated which leads to Social Issues at times due to my temper. So I was just wondering if valium could be used to treat all of these problems.
Yes, Valium can be prescribed for seizures as well as depression but it’s mostly for anxiety disorders. I would be careful taking Valium or any other Benzodiazepine because they are highly addictive. You can have some major withdrawal symptoms when you try to quit. I would recommend something like Dilantin for seizures and Paxil for depression. You definitely don’t want to add on to your problems by becoming addicted to any anti-anxiety medication. Good Luck
